Rahzé Sinclair is praised as a "wonderfully sensitive" performer with "crystalline diction", the ability to "move to tears", and a strong foundation in music, theatre art, and dance applications. Armed with the perspective of the intersection of mis- and underrepresented communities, Rahzé seeks to break through an otherwise homogenous music scene. In addition to performing original works, Rahzé enjoys learning and performing works from 1900-forward, by little-known and unknown composers and poets, especially artists of color and LBGTQ-identified artists. They inhabit a liminal space only accessible through a lifetime of otherization, yet extend a bridge to invite others to that space. The ticket for admission, an open mind; the reward, a journey of exploration, growth, and healing.

THE NEW RIVER

In a recital produced by soprano Tony Arnold, collaborators perform the music of Arnold Schoenberg, Charles Ives, and their offshoots of the 20th and 21st centuries.

Queer, "I"

Music for solo improvisatory voice, multiple unaccompanied voices, voice and string quartet, and voice and piano at the intersection of queerness as both liminal space and destination.

Rahzé Sinclair performed as Angel Dumott Schunard in the iconic rock musical that has become a cultural touchstone, rite of passage, and source of joy and strength for millions. ‍

MUSIC AT ST. DAVID'S

A chamber opera in which two voices share the part of a sole protagonist in a poignant coming-of-age story with a universal theme of identity, authenticity, and compassion. Various, 2018-2022.

Sinclair Music Studio

Whether you are an avocational singer with little experience, or a professional vocal artist, private lesson study is one the most important investments in your vocal health and performance journey. Working with me, you will learn to sing properly without strain, injury, or fatigue; receive feedback on musical interpretations; as well as gain the confidence necessary to maximize your true vocal potential! Right now, I have a wait list for prospective students (16+) with intermediate to professional vocal experience who are interested in learning about and developing vocal technique, foreign language diction, song preparation skills, and more. For prospective students not interested in voice study, I also provide private piano and music theory instruction.
