DISCOVERING
MYSELF

In collaboration with SooJung Kim, Rahzé offered a recital in Leith Symington Griswold Hall at the Peabody Institute Conservatory of Music in Baltimore, Maryland. Other collaborators included Jeremy Earnest, piano, and Taylor Hillary Boykins, mezzo soprano. While the recital featured the works of Brahms, Faure, Ravel, Musto, Bernstein, and Monsalvatge, they also premiered a new work, God's World, by Baltimore-based composer Jeremy Earnest. In all, the recital navigated themes of black identity, queer identity, and what it means to be a global citizen.
